After successfully completing the G.R.O.W.T.H. Initiative Program in 2020 as a Media Planning Intern, I was welcomed back to the City Living team as a part-time Social Media Strategist. Picking up where I left off, I continued to use key data insights to connect with the desired target audience, in addition to creating and scheduling content for the organization’s Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter platforms.
City Living New York helps those aging out of the foster care system by providing clients with the necessary resources to thrive as young adults. This was certainly a passion project, as I am a strong advocate for adoption and taking strides to improve the current foster care system.
Digital Facelift
After conducting research and analyzing audience data, changes were made to City Living’s online presence to best engage target demographics. Full creative liberties were granted for all digital platforms, from in-feed to live story content.
Fresh Content
A combination bold graphics and carousel posts were created to best promote relevant holidays, organization updates, and ultimately engage target audience members. Sample content is featured below.
Performance Insights
There was over a 245.7% increase in accounts reached via Instagram and Facebook during the project span, with over 6.88k total impressions and a reach of over 6.13k.
