Modern Luxury Magazine

Social media strategy, data analysis

How is a magazine brand repositioning itself to compete with the digitization of consumer media? This is the research question I explored as a Social Media Strategy Intern at this magazine giant. From account management to content promotion, I tackled a variety of projects while in this role.

Daily intern responsibilities consisted of pulling and scheduling content across all platforms, promoting magazine articles through story and in-feed posts, researching regional target audience trends for assigned accounts, and lastly, organizing and promoting holiday content across all 20+ national accounts.

Instagram Feed Samples

A variety of food, lifestyle, cityscape, holiday, and sponsored in-feed content was pulled, curated, and scheduled for the following accounts. I was given full creative reigns for all of the following feeds.

Content Performance

After performing a thorough audience analysis, I improved content performance & increased engagement rates by about 90% across all Instagram accounts. This includes likes, shares, comments, and overall story views for assigned Vegas, Aspen, Chicago, Angeleno, San Diego, and Riviera accounts.

Holiday Content

Modern Luxury’s social team created four holiday-themed gift guides gifs, to increase engagement on social platforms & promote holiday magazine articles. Individual holiday gift guides were also promoted across Instagram stories with corresponding article links.
