MAIP

(Multicultural Advertising Internship Program)

Programmatic trading, data analysis, creative strategy, copywriting (Spanish and English), influencer strategy, deck design

4’as MAIP program advocates for diversity and inclusion within the advertising industry, by connecting students of color with award-winning agencies. I was selected by Havas Media New York as a paid social media intern, where I worked with their programmatic trading teams on a variety of projects, from excel pacing sheets to competitive brand audits. After clocking out for the day, I dedicated time to MAIP by participating in program meetings, labs, and creative competitions with my assigned team.

Thomas’… A New Angle

Create a mind-blowing pitch deck in 14 days? Done. As the social media strategist of my team, I not only created an influencer list for the campaign, but also brainstormed final ideas for the brand strategy, and helped to organize the media plan. Our team even won the brief ;)

Digitas x AAPI Activism

Digitas asked for a campaign that advocated for the AAPI community. In light of the heinous events that occurred during this past year, the goal of this campaign was to share the stories of AAPI community members. While we didn’t win the pitch, this was still a brilliant project to work on.

Havas Media New York

Havas’ creative agency requested a creative brand audit for a new client. In a matter of weeks, a fellow intern and I created a detailed audit surrounding the top brands in the telecommunications industry. While I researched and pulled content for a number of brands, I also designed the final deck. The list of brands I exclusively worked on includes Verizon, Century Link, Dish Satellite, DirecTV, Hulu, Disney+, Sling, HBO Max, Windstream, RCN, Ozarksgo, Wave Rural, Google Fiber, Zona, Full Channel (now called Broadband), Webpass, and BTC.
